Superintendent's Weekly Memo - June 7, 2024
Dear Mustang Families,
This week, we proudly celebrated the Medford High School Class of 2024! In a wonderful graduation ceremony, the community joined together to recognize the accomplishments of our graduates and send them off to a bright future. Thank you to all of the administrators, teachers, staff, students and families who helped produce this great event, as well as City departments including Public Works, Police, Fire, and Hormel Stadium staff who made the event possible.
Next week, we’re looking forward to 8th Grade Moving-On Ceremonies on June 12, when our Middle School communities will gather to cheer on the Class of 2028 as they finish middle school and head to high school! The McGlynn Moving-On will be held at 5 p.m. and the Andrews Moving-On will be held at 7 p.m. at Hormel.

McGlynn Playground Update
Have you seen the amazing progress on the McGlynn School’s new, universally accessible playground? The Medford School Committee invites members of the Medford community to support the new McGlynn Elementary School playground, by donating to the playground fund to offset project costs and future maintenance.
Donor benefits will include recognition in a district-wide press release, memorialization on a plaque at the playground entrance, and an invitation to the playground ribbon-cutting. Visit the Fundraiser web page to donate, and thank you for your support!
